 Louise Larouche Louise Larouche's art is the result of a combination of many influences reflecting her personal vision and the experiences of her surroundings. Most importantly, her art conveys the deep feelings that nature awakens in her soul. The atmosphere created by her brush is at times surreal. The stillness comes to life with her strokes and impetuous movement. Forms, shapes, light and shadows embrace to finally produce intricate spaces. Through the use of vibrant colours her decisive strokes merge to create a unique window on nature. With time, the contrasts become bolder, and the colours richer - luminosity emerges! Larouche lets her inspiration flow freely, offering paintings that exude warmth. She draws from the rugged beauty of nature from the undergrowth to the lakes, the rivers and the deep forests of Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.
